    About
    Martinsen established, and has since been running, a regional physicist service in Norway in 2005, providing physicist services in nearly 40 radiological and nuclear medicine departments and private institutes in the South-Eastern Health region. 27 full time employed physicists are working in the department on regularly basis, covering the full range of imaging modalities and associated technologies; CT, X-ray, intervention and radiation protection , PET, SPECT and MRI . Nearly 30 PhD-students, post docs and researchers are affiliated. In 2017, Martinsen initiated and established Oslo Imaging Technology Research and Innovation Centre (ImTECH). She is research group leader for “CT technology”.
